Anyone familiar with sony ccd tr60e 8mm camcorder (1993)

Hi,

I have a sony ccd tr60e camcorder bought around 1993. What connections will I need to connect this camcorder to a standalone dvd recorder so that I can convert 8mm footage to dvd? I currently use the supplied rf out rfu adapter (rfu-89eu) to hook up to tv, connects into standard ariel socket on tv (not scart socket) Help and advice very much appreciated

thank you

Part of the Furniture Combo Breaker
It should have a yellow phono socket for video output and a black phono socket for Audio out, and a red one as well if its stereo.

So you just need a couple of phono to phono leads to connect up to the analog input sockets on your DVD recorder.
That gum you like is coming back in style.

    Yep, I agree with penrhyn.

Don't know the technical terms, but I have a similar model and I had the leads with the camera all ready to hook up.

I plug them to the front of my DVD recorder and stick it on AV1 (my dvd channel on tv) and have to press the 'source' button on DVD Recorded remote so that it recognises the plugged in wires and bobs my uncle.

Has taken me months to convert my tapes onto DVD but am well happy with the results - No more home videos on VHS for me !!
