Bathroom woes

Hi all,
Any help at all is much appreciated on this matter, and thankyou in advance!
Our LL put a new bathroom suite in last December, and the hot tap on the bath mixer tap has almost fully siezed up. There is nothing but a dribble coming through even when the tap is on at full capacity, but the cold tap is fine. The pressure in the hot taps is fine on the other two hot taps in the flat.
I'm going to contact the LL asap to tell her about this, as we now can't bathe or shower (again!), but how long is a reasonable period of time for getting this fixed? When the old bath broke we were left six weeks without a proper working bath and had to have the briefest of showers. This time we can't even shower.
Also, if she fobs us off with a long period of time, are we within our rights to get a plumber in and withhold the cost of the plumber from the rent?
Thanks all!
We're in the last half of an AST if that helps.

Write to her.
If she doesn't get back to you then get in touch with the local council's private sector housing team.0 -
@poppysarah,
Currently drafting the letter as we speak (or as I type).
I'm just getting sick of this - first the old bath breaks, now the new bath is so small you can't actually bathe in it, and finally the blimming hot water tap has gone toxic and we can't even shower!
