HAHAHA I take in hand luggage:
change of clothes,
heavy shoes
all documents etc
books
all toiletries - well I usually buy these past security
laptop

Last time my hand luggage weighed less than my case

the alternative is to take a second, very small case - the one I flew to Manchester with was excellent but that means having 2 cases on wheels to manoeuvure.

Also a bit miffed that the bag I bought from ebay hasn't arrived. It was sent Monday First Class, but as the mess that was Charlie's portrait taking 3 weeks to arrive First Class, I guess Ishouldn't really be surprised.

I think (but I havent flown with Ryanair for a while) that you are limited to one bit of luggage not only the weight...but its worth checking

Maybe thats Easyjet - I always get those two confused

Sally - my Dad is driving us there and we are getting a taxi back - saves £20 on a taxi!! I think parking would be about £70 for the time we are away (eek!)

Ryanair is up to 3 pieces of luggage per person in the hold, each bag is charged for when you book. Weight limits can't be pooled (tight gits) and are 15kg each. Cabin is 10kg per person in addition so I could take a second case, but it's a pain.

back in the office after [strike]my jolly to Primani[/strike] i mean very important errand to the bank for work in aberdeen!!

It was lovely, i decided against taking the car and finding parking, so took the train, lovely bright day here too so was great, lovely views over aberdeenshire coastline from the train... (even past big g hard at work at the golf course! lol!) had time to pop into the bar for a soda and lime and chat with a lovely chum on the phone before heading back on the train!

Resisted all temptation foodwise as today is weigh in day! There were sandwich shops and lovely things every way i looked!!

Rubes, your chum sounds so nice! what a lovely thing to do!

Lenny- leave poor anna alone! she'll be the first virtual reality employee to leave Ikea for sexual harrasment!! (but lol at knob rack!! :rotfl: :rotfl:)

BB - have a brill holiday!!! take sunglasses outta handbag and stick on your head, another space saving tip and makes you look glam and well travelled!!

sounds a good idea!! :T However, as they cost £5 from Tesco about 4 years ago , I think people would quickly realise how glam and well travelled I wasn't! :rotfl:
