Made redunant but someone else employed to do my job

    If you sign a compromise agreement, your position has not been made redundant in the strict legal sense.

    If you read the agreement, it's confirmation that you and the company mutually agree to terminate your contract of employment, for no reason.

    So - the company is doing nothing wrong by employing someone to replace you.
    Warning ..... I'm a peri-menopausal axe-wielding maniac ;)

    That may well be true DFC - but if the process surrounding the CA was deeply flawed then it is quite possibly not worth the paper it is written on...!
