Hotel for the U2 Wembley gig...?

Hope someone on here can help cos I've looked at so many hotel sites me eyes are going funny :D

OH's mate has managed to get hold of a couple of tickets for them for the Friday night. (14th August)

I've been on just about every hotel site I can think of and the best I can do is £70 for the Park Royal Travelodge or £90 for the Wembley one. The TFL site seems to suggest there will still be transport at the sort of time the gig finishes so should I suggest ot them maybe booking somewhere nearer Central London and travelling back afterwards? Only thing Im thinking is that a lot of people will no doubt be having the same idea!!!!!!!! If anyone has any suggestions or knows anywhere else I could try I would be very grateful - only thing to stipulate is that it has to be a twin room - two blokes sharing obv dont want to have to share a bed :D

Have you looked at the Premier Inn. I think it's only across the road from the stadium but i'm not sure about prices. They all tend to increases the prices when they know of big events coming!!. Good luck

Premier Inn had a 2 nite stay restriction and wanted 300 quid!!!

I think they are going with the Park Royal one as we stayed near there very recently and there's an all-night bus route nearby.

    Thanks everyone for ur help!
