Best place to stick 1000 for a rainy day?

Hi,

I have 1000 to stick in a savings a/c and I want it to be somewhere where I can use it for emergencies so I don't want it tied up anywhere inaccessible. Could anyone advise on a good high interest instant access savings account or some other kind of investment pot?

halifax isa reward direct saver thing.. 3% tax free fixed interest for a year, up to 4 withdrawals.

if you plan on using your cash ISA allowance otherwise, YBS still have a 2.75% variable for instant access on the go.

just check the best buys and go with what you are happy with.
