Cheapest business bank account?

Just wondering if anyone could recommend a business bank account..is there such thing as an account with no charges?
What do you use?
I might need to combine it and take payments over the phone with a console also.
I don't expect to be putting through a huge amount of business through it, just I need it for the odd transaction

Id suggest using abbey for free, I use barclays but they charge, find it better to know the person then at least you have a half chance of getting lending or a good rate etc. I use barlcays merchant services, they gave me a good rate.Kind Regards

Im so pleased I done this, becuase my business is not good and I want to start new business and the bank manger loves me, because for 1 I havnt lent, 2nd I have had the account for years and because im nice to him. You don't get that with a indian call centre.Kind Regards

In order to use this I need an account with one of the following:
Lloyds TSB
RBS
HSBC

Is there any clear winner here?0 -
