I thought that too lol, then i punctured the holes under the lid it shakes out the contents!

No you can peel back a think placcie layer over the holes and then it comes out!0

I usually poke a few holes in the 'cellophane' and test it out, then poke more holes as req'd. Less messy than peeling back, in my case.
