Just to let people know if they want one of the super custom kits (I think that's the $50 one) they had better get it soonish as they plan on discontinuing it once they have their new website up - I don't know when this will be yet though (I read about it on one of their forums in the Community section).

If anyone gets one can they let us know how much tax they paid please? I may get one, and if I do I'll let you all know :)

I'm so tempted to risk it but don't know if it'll be worth it once all charges have been paid?????

It works out at $4.16 per item, so if you get 12 of the foundations for eg you are saving $8 nearly off each one - which is quite a lot in total really ($96) - obviously convert it to £, but still a good saving, with the prices already cheap anyway for mineral MU (especially of this quality).

The customs charges are likely to be in the region of making the whole thing £41 ish (that's £ not $) not including the shipping charge from the US (sorry don't know if this is the same as for the sample pack or more). Soooo....you are getting about £130ish worth of goods (depending on what you choose) for about £50 ish - the question of whether or not it's money saving is - would you use it all, or would you buy all the expensive items to make it worth it, or would you buy less expensive products over here?

Personally I am just waivering because I'm struggling to make a choice on things (I am so pants at choosing colours and things when given a choice, especially as there are so many to choose from - you get 12 full sizes from *anything* they do, not 1 foundation, 1 eyeshadow etc, which would make it easier for people like me lol), but for value for money I think it really is a great bargin, especially as the products are such good quality and I would def. use them so much.

Anyway, just my ramblings on the matter :)
Do not feed the trolls please.

"seems like"? You could check your PayPal a/c if you don't remember when you placed your order. It normally takes about a week.

Yes it seems like mine are taking ages, I didnt check the date I placed the order as I felt it is irrelevant when I did not know the delivery time for them, what seems like ages could have been the average people have waited to receive them. If its usually about a week then mine should be here by now as I just checked my Paypal and I ordered 3 weeks ago.

I just opened a dispute with Paypal, saying item not received hoping to communicate with the company and get some idea where the order is as it shows as dispatched 3 weeks ago on my order history. By doing this it has automatically changed my order status on my account with the company to cancelled is that right? It has not automatically refunded me though so I am not sure what will happen next.

If you ordered more than £7 worth it might have been stopped by customs...but you should have received a card from the Post Office by now if this has happened.

3.1 How are customs charges calculated?

Charges are raised by Customs staff at the postal depots where the packages are received. However, in some cases special arrangements are in place for goods purchased on the internet (see paragraph 3.4 below).
The amount of customs charges payable will depend on the type of goods imported and the value (converted using the rates of exchange for the month of importation as shown on the HMRC website) stated on the customs declaration (CN22/CN23):
Customs duty - this is usually charged as a percentage of the value. The percentage varies depending on the type of goods and their country of origin. Duty is charged on the price paid for the goods including any local sales taxes plus postage, packing and insurance costs. However, postage is excluded from the calculation for duty on gifts sent by post except for Express Mail Service (EMS).
Where the value of gifts is below £290 per consignment a flat rate of duty of 3.5% will be applied, but only if it is to your advantage.
Note: Customs duty will be waived if the amount is less than £7.
