Can't log out off MSE

It isn't such a biggie, but is a bit strange. I can't log out of MSE. I downloaded Firefox last night, so I am guessing it is something to do with that. Have cleared my cookies but still can't log out.
I click the log out button and everything happens as normal (asking me if I want to return to the page I was viewing etc) but when I go to the forum home page I am still logged in.
Anyone any ideas?
