the other day dd asked me to make her chips and burgers
so i did HM for both but added a LOT of my homemade veggie seasoning i make from drying and grinding veg to both the burgers before cooking and the chips after cooking
she got a decent dose of veggies without ever knowing it and it was really nice on the chips

Could you pleeassssseeeeee tell me how you make your home made veggie seasoning...????
Which veggies do you use? Are there any in particular that don't work? How high do you have your oven? How long do you roast them for?
It sounds really nice...

I don't have kids, but these treats sound fab anyway!!
I make 'chips' by slicing potatoes into chunky chip sized pieces and par-boiling for 5 mins. After draining, I put the saucepan lid back on and shake the pan hard a few times, so the edges soften. I then spray them all over with 1-cal spray and bake thm in the hot oven for about 15 mins on gas mark 5. Shaking them before baking makes the edges crispy and chip-like! They taste lovely and I serve them with home-made tomato sauce if I have any in. This is also a nice way to make parsnip chips, though these are harder to pass off as real chips because of the shape!0
