SEASON TICKETS PRICES FROZEN AT £250 FOR ADULTS FOR THIRD YEAR RUNNING AS LATICS ANNOUNCE PREMIER LEAGUE FOOTBALL TO REMAIN FROM JUST £13.16 PER MATCH!

With Steve Bruce's boys now riding high in the Barclays Premier League and having broken through the magic 40 point barrier following Sunday's terrific win against Hull City, the club are announcing that season ticket prices will be remaining the same for 2009-10 - Latics' 5th year in the top flight of British football.

When it comes to providing Premier League football at the best prices, Wigan Athletic have been leading the way for years!

Last season's baseline price of £250* will remain the same for the majority of seats, with every seat in the stadium still under £300**.

This still represents the best overall value in the Barclays Premier League.

The three-tiered system introduced last season continues, starting at £250 for the South Stand and the wings of the West and the East Stands, rising to £275 and £295 for more central areas.

Purchasing and renewal date details will be following in the coming weeks.

Steve Bruce paid a huge tribute to the Wigan Athletic supporters following the victory on Sunday and said: "You have been terrific, home and away this season. Thank you. When this place gets going, the atmosphere is as good as anywhere.

"I think it's fantastic that at this stage of the season, we are able to start planning for next year although there is still plenty to play for this season.

"Not only will we be in the Premier League and welcoming some of the greatest players in the world to our stadium next season, but we will be matching them every step of the way and continue to prove that this club truly belongs at this level."

Dave Whelan, Wigan Athletic Chairman, said: "Steve Bruce has taken us to a new level this season, as I was confident he would, and to be able to look forward to next season with two months left of this season is an incredible achievement from Steve and his players.

Under 16s season tickets remain at £140 - £7.37 a match - while Under 11s can buy a season ticket for £76 - an incredible £4.00 a game. Other concessionary prices, for Over 65s and students work out at £10 a game, £190 for the season ticket.
