The reason I pointed it out is if you google 'Irish Cream' recipes, they all come up pretty much the same as what you said.. almost always with coffee in them!!kingrobert wrote: »And where did I say it did say that this was a recipe for baileys/ irish cream :rotfl:
THis is home made you could always substitute the coffee with some caramel or chocolate syrup but thanks for pointing that out as they say you learn something new every day !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Now chocolate syrup, or a touch of cocoa sounds good
I have a gorgeous bottle of 'cream' from Marks which is chocolate orange flavour mm.. 0 -

I rushed off to my local expecting there to be bare shelves as I saw when these offers were on at Christmas; only to see 5 shelves stacked with at least a hundred of them! Had to resist the temptation to stock up, as I only like it for adding to coffee.

a bargain is only a bargain if you really need it!0 -
Some of the cheaper Baileys substitutes use wine instead of whiskey. Baileys is the original and the best, although my favourite is one called Heather Cream and it's sold in Scotland (try The Whiskey Shop in the Buchanan Galleries, Glasgow).0
