Have you tried their own Brandy Alexander as an alternative - about £5.50 last time I got some. A cream liqueur like Baileys but with brandy - and chocolate! Seriously yummy.....!0

I'll have a look - thanks.

I normally buy my good lady Sainsburys Taste The Difference Irish Cream which is normally on offer regularly at £9 a litre, very tempted to ween her off it and put her on the Brandy Alexander, think of the money I would save
The missus prefers Sainsburys own to Baileys.0 -

I've just tried this and can recommend it, I got it for £7 (with a £2 voucher).
£10 is the max. I would pay for a litre of Baileys though - good that it pops up now and again.

best of the lot is 1 cup of whisky 1 tin condensed milk 1 tin evaporated milk and 1 desert spoon of good quality coffee mixed with 4 desert spoons of boiling water..
mix coffee (use extra coffee or whisky if you like it a bit stronger/same for whisky )
add rest
stir well
fire it in a bottle
keeps for 3 months
makes 1 litre0 -

And where did I say it did say that this was a recipe for baileys/ irish cream :rotfl:
THis is home made you could always substitute the coffee with some caramel or chocolate syrup but thanks for pointing that out as they say you learn something new every day !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!0 -
