Egg Money Interest Question

On the Egg Money card, if you maintain a positive balance, is the interest paid monthly or yearly?

Just got news of the savings account rate dropping, so I'm thinking of switching my balance to the Egg Money account.

    It is paid monthly.
  • Thanks Baz. I think I must have been searching using the wrong words on google. Money is getting transferred then!

    Google?

Just log in to your Egg Money account and click 'need help?', then 'general help with Egg Money'...
When will I receive credit interest?

Interest is calculated daily, compounded monthly and you'll see it monthly on your statement.
  • Oh, I don't get that general help option. Usually I can get help pages on their site to come up on google.

Just another thing, I can't get my direct debit preferences to chance, always just goes back to the one I have had it as for a while. Any trick to making it change?

Since they pulled the card for new customers the help pages are prefixed https. Maybe that's why?

Been reported before on the credit card forum. I'd ask them once verbally, or via secure message, and if they don't oblige make a formal complaint.
