Has anyone visited Rabac in Croatia?
In particular the Girandella Hotel. Any advice on things to do, day trips, public transport and general prices etc. would be gratefully recieved!

We went to Rabac in September 1984 (I know it's a long time ago) and it was absolutely beautiful. Although I don't remember there being any beaches, just big rock that people lay on. I would love to go back to see if the war changed it.

Went to Rabac too, but like cheekymole it was a while ago, think it was 1988. It was one of the best holidays we had.

Took loads of day trips. The hovercraft to Venice was wonderful as were the Lipizanner horses. Other days were spent just wandering around and having leisurely meals overlooking the water. No beaches.

Again, dont know what it is like now, but would love to go back.

As I remember public transport was ok.

Hopefully someone will come along with more uptodate info.
