I started my claim against HFC bank in October 2006 -sent SAR eventually got a letter to say they could not find any of my paperwork but they believed there was not case. I forwarded my claim to FOS for adjudication and its been with them for about 18 months, I have had various letters from the to say they have been swamped but they would be dealing with my complaint asap. Eventually I emailed them asking for some assistance as I had fell on bad times and was struggling financially and HFC were now threatening me with court action as I couldn't pay the instalments on my loan. I was paying a nomical amount while my claim was being reviewed. Still nothing some 3-4 months later - From the forums i see people are successfully claiming from HFC - what have i done wrong?

I think this might be in the wrong forum. Unfortunately I can't move it as I have no god-like powers here but you may do better posting in the correct forum.0
