It's erratic.
Local branch refused to open more than one so I went down the road where the branch opened 2 for me, but said that was the limit.
Telephone sales were happy to open more but only one at a time (every 24 hours).
The branch people said customers were using them as a savings account so that's why new rules, but the telephone sales lady actualy referred to it as a savings account!
Keep trying, but it looks like they are tightnening up.
Edit: I've opened 3 more via Telephone sales - one-at-a-time. No problem.0 -
I applied online a week ago, how long does it take to get an email back acknowledging the application? I've printed, signed and posted the forms too.0

I applied online for accounts in my name and OH. There were no email acknowledgement (I was expecting one) . OH account was open within a few days but then took a further week to get debit card, internet user details etc. Mine was taking longer so after a week I phoned to be told that as I had a dormant Lloyds account (old esaver not used for many years) and I had to go into a branch to apply. Bit of a nuisance but account was available for deposit immediatelyI applied online a week ago, how long does it take to get an email back acknowledging the application? I've printed, signed and posted the forms too.Awaiting a new sig0 -
