Student Finance - filling in online, not sure what to select

Options
Hi,

My nephew is 18, lives at home and will be starting a uni course in sept. My sister is applying for the loans etc online via the https://www.studentfinance.direct.gov.uk. She is unsure of what to select. It to select from a drop down list either: apply for support, support and application or apply for support and support and application. Any ideas would be great. Thanks

Is your sister applying for student loans on behalf of her son or is she trying to provide evidence for his application?

Has the nephew already done his bit? He should be the one applying - as with any loan - and should click 'apply for support'. Your sister can then go on at her leisure and click 'support an application'. If they want to work on the application back-to-back, they click 'apply for support AND support an application'.
