I thought that HB could only now be paid direct to the tenant however found out today that they can request that it gets paid straight to the LL.
For you LL's that dont like taking in HB tenants due to this, perhaps you could have a chat with your prospective tenants and get them to sign it over to you.

If the claim is fraudulent though - it's claimed back from the person it was paid for and it can be back-dated a long time.... so a different issue....0 -

you can only request direct payment for specific reasons - if a tenant is "vulnerable" and councils are interpreting this in multifarious ways0
