Hello. Could someone from the east midlands area confirm that you can receive Channel 5, fiver and five usa, on freesat. I have just been reading that it is only available On Demand?

    Freesat or freesatfromsky?

Freesat will give you five only.
Freesatfromsky will give you all of them, but you need a fta card

The other option is freeview where you get them all.

This is live TV by the way, not 'catch up'

There's no such thing. Obviously Free To Air doesn't require a card. Perhaps you mean "FreesatFromSky" card.

We used to pay for Sky, but stopped 2.5 years ago. We still have the box and can still view the free channels. However a few weeks ago we noticed that when we try to get Channel 5, Fiver or any of the 5-related channels it says "No satellite signal is being received". Does this mean Channel 5 are no longer on the "free" Sky?

Just Googled and found out the answer - the Sky card is no longer in the slot! One of the little people in this house must have removed it .....
