Check out Intel's Avatar Thread here (sorry, I borrowed your link headcovers ) or you can get an avatar from a large database of them at Avatarity.com (there's links to some other sites here, kindly researched by sra )

If you have something in mind then you can use that as well. However, the file size must be below 19.5KB and the avatar image must be smaller than 80 x 80 pixels.

Once you have your picture just go to User CP > then click Edit Avatar > then Upload an Avatar from your computer > then press Browse and find the image file then click Save and you have an avatar.
