Sounds silly .......... But about to fill a form in that asks for income from investments.
Are savings classed as investments everything I look at including this forum lumps them together?

What sort of form?, if its your tax return then Yes savings are regarded as investments and they would want to know what interest you have received. You need to be more specificLiquidity is when you look at your investment portfolio and **** your pants0

savings typically means cash deposits and investments means risk based products. However, the terms are often misused so you need to be wary.
In the context you are talking about (it sounds like a factfind), I would think that it is looking for income you are taking from your savings and investments. Not growth investments.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). The comments I make are just my opinion and are for discussion purposes only. They are not financial advice and you should not treat them as such. If you feel an area discussed may be relevant to you, then please seek advice from an Independent Financial Adviser local to you.0 -
Yes savings are investments, I would just list the provider and the capital amount invested, if your uncomfortable with that then I would ask whoever your providing this profile to to clarify.Liquidity is when you look at your investment portfolio and **** your pants0
