Phoning from work without charging the company

I work in a place which has no mobile phone reception. I would like to make calls using the work phones but without work being charged. Does anyone know a way to do this?
I remember back in the day, when mobiles were less wide spread, there being plenty of providers that gave you 0800 numbers and then billed you at the end of the month (onetel etc.), but I can't find any suitable ones now.
Any Ideas?
Thanks

If you have a BT line at home, get a BT Calling Card (I'd suggest a National Card in your case) - calls made from anywhere can be charged to your home phone bill - see HERE.
I've just noticed that you can charge calls to your credit or debit card if you don't have a BT line at home.
Beware though, calls aren't cheap - 12p/minute to UK 01/02 numbers!Time has moved on (much quicker than it used to - or so it seems at my age) and my previous advice on residential telephony has been or is now gradually being overtaken by changes in the retail market. Hence, I have now deleted links to my previous 'pearls of wisdom'. I sincerely hope they helped save some of you money.0 -
If you have your own direct dial number at work, you could try (1) signing up you home number to 18185, if you haven't already (2) adding your work number to your 18185 account. Finarea will then charge you for all calls that anyone makes using the 18185 prefix from your work number. 5 pence per call, for calls to UK landlines.0

You could try this lot, you should be able to use an account number and PIN if they don't recognise the number you call from.

You could use any of the Betamax co. e.g. Nonoh, Poivy etc which give 90 / 120 days credit after paying e10 (ten euro) - you then set up the call on the web, it phones you & the other party.0
