cannon canoscan software??

Hi,

I recently had to wipe my harddrive because of a virus,

Now I had my canon canoscan lide 90 scanner installed and used it quite regularly,

However now I need to use it again and I havent got the disk!!

Ive downloaded the drivers from the canon website but I cant seem to get it working,

I know when I used it before there was a program that was installed with the disk - similar to photoshop that enabled me to scan photo's etc through this program.

Do I need the disk or can I download any old program or does anyone know what program is best to use please?

What about the MP Navigator application available from Canon here:

"This application software allows you to scan, save and print photos and documents. You can also edit images, or attach images to email using this application software."

Else freebie applications such as Paint.net will be ideal.

The driver should be enough to get you going

almost certainly that should have provided you with at least TWAIN driver ?

unforutunaly PAINT only works with a WIA driver - was / is that an option ?
