Buy your bananas in bunches of 5 on Sunday. Then arrange them in order of ripeness and write a day of the week on each banana in felt pen, Monday on the ripest, Friday on the greenest to save time making those decisions on a hectic weekday morning

Hi Colin....thanks for the pointer but I purchased it from them anyway.

If I have toasted the RAM would it be cheeky of me to send it back to crucial and ask for an exchange?

I take it that this is a rhetorical question?

If they have any sense, they will test any returns and soon discover whether the issue is a manufacturing problem, which is covered by their warranty, or 'user error', which is not.

If the original RAM is fine (Hasnt been 'toasted') but doesnt work then id guess youve fried the RAM slots
