Problem with aerial

I bought one of the 8 inch flat screen televisions from Evesham. It works superbly in the lounge off my roof aerial but its really intended for the kitchen. When I move it out to the back of the house and try using an indoor aerial I can't get a picture. I bought a Video sender from Aldi and it sort of works but not very well sending a picture from the lounge to the kitchen. I suspect the trouble with both methods is the number of walls between kitchen and lounge or outside of house facing transmitter. Is there anything else I can try cheaply that won't involve cables all around the house?

I had a similar problem with a tv in my study. I set up another aeriel in the loft and brought that to the tv that wasn't working (down the outside wall and in through a hole in the study wall) and it did the trick for about £25.
(You can, of course, split your roof aeriel and bring a lead from it to kitchen.)
If you are going to have a tv in the kitchen it's best to bite the bullet and have a proper aeriel in there.
Sounds like 'cables all around the house, sorry!!
