But once we have done the bigger stuff, we often feel that we are not making the same amount of progress, when in fact the small steps are helping us form good financial habits and helping us get closer everyday to staying in control and becoming debt free, or staying debt free;)
Examples could be charging your phone up at work instead of at home to save your electricity, hanging washing out instead of using the tumble dryer or leaving your purse/wallet at home to avoid the risk of spending.
So be proud of those small steps, they really are important.:D

Not feeling too bad today...I went to the doc yesterday, he's ruled out my appendix and going to arrange a scan for me very soon:o (I've looked up 'pelvic scan' on google - am not looking forward to it:rolleyes: )
Anyway, I'm off work for the rest of this week and as I don't feel *too* bad today, I must try and be useful, even if it stuff I can do from sitting down;)
Girls will be off to school in about 20min and I must resist the urge to go back to bed!

- scratchcards....2 x 10p booo
- Investigate changing gas/elec suppliers
- NSD ... have deliberately moved all my money to savings/club funds, leaving only 9p in my spending account so I can't buy anything;)
- Maybe do a washing, if I can find enough to wash...at 30 then on line if it stays dry
- Dig out NVQ and finally attempt to finish!
- Read newspaper online
- whizz hoover around
- dinner using meat from freezer - chilli/bolognese

Morning everyone :hello:
Working at home today, so will save fuel by not driving in to work
So far I have:
HM breakfast
Seen to animals
In a minute I will have to kick myself up the behind and get on with:
Quick tidy up
Lots of work!
Make some broccoli and Stilton soup out of reduced ingredients
Clean oven
(even worse that the dreaded ir*ning, which I won't type in full as it is illegal)
Dig some more of the garden and sow some seeds in the bit I dug yesterday. OH normally digs the garden over for me in the spring, but he has been busy, and has now twisted his knee whilst slipping in a cowpat when running after an escaped cow  Still, I can do it, albeit at the speed of an arthritic snail!
Walk the dogs for (more) free exercise
Lunch and supper from stores
No spend day, as I will not be going out!
