We spent a couple of days there last year, its good you see all the places off films.
The best part was a segway tour
You get a guided tour round most of the main sites on these things. You half an hour to learn how to ride them first. Its a good laugh, and better than walking.
Eating out; there is a place called the river front, theres a few restaurants together its a nice little but bustling area you can sit outside watching the boats and people go by we went both nights. Theres a cracking sea food place there they allso sell alligator
Theres the 'International spy museum' which is ok for an hour or so too.
One of the worlds best theme parks is on the way to NYC from washington, if your interested?0 -

Well you could walk!0 -
Last year I stayed at the Virginian Inn and Suites - large room with separate kitchen - can't remember the price but it was very reasonable as it was in lexington and near a metro station. Great place to stay.
