Too cut a long story short I need some advice
My wife got into some debt difficulties some time ago and instead of telling me she tried to deal with it on her own. To cut a long story short she took out a consolidation loan with Lloyds TSB to pat off credit cards unfortunatly the APR was quite high and she was not told that the PPI was optional. Well after struggling with the payments on her own for some time she eventualy told me about the debt. I took out another loan with Northen Rock at a much reduced APR and settled the Lloyds TSB loan. My question is this does my wife still have a right to make a claim against being missold the PPI even now the loan has been settled??
Many thanks

Hi there
Sorry to hear this, but yes I would go for it, going by the reasons you said, here is a link with template letters and useful info to help you through this:
http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/reclaim/ppi-loan-insurance
They have 8 weeks to respond in full, keep on at them until you've exhausted their complaint procedures, they will let you know this in the final letter, and how to take this further, such as with the financial ombudsman service, if your not satisfied with the outcome of the complaint.
Good luck and post up anytime for any help.;)
