Then he would have incurred even more cost as they would no doubt have included heafty fees in returning and also applying for the court order.
Either way, thats not really the problem right now.
OP, I was just a bit concerned about your paperwork- did you get it back? if not, is that not theft as they took the car under the impression you were buying time, and so took the paperwork under the understanding it would be kept safe. Do they not then have a liability to keep to thier word and keep the paperwork safe and if they have not done so, then they are in the wrong...not expecting you to answer that and hope you have been able to get somewhere with it all (I would have called the police- though thats just my -lack of- experience for balifs) but the words theft and stolen spring to mind- of your paperwork, as oppose to the car.0 -

The police will not be interested in this alleged 'theft' of paperwork, they will consider it a civil matter."You were only supposed to blow the bl**dy doors off!!"0 -

I find that a bit cheeky on the DFW board.

Not only is it not a charity, but it is committing an offence under S6 (4)(c) of the Consumer Protection from Unfair Tradings Regs 2008 by failing to provide a geographical address. This is a prohibited practice which is classed as a misleading omission under the above regs.

Even the Whois info is incomplete. It would appear that the site owner is taking care to hide who they are. I shall email Taunton TSS tomorrow to advise them of the problem.0
