I have two Aqualisa thermostatic showers. An aquavalve 700 and a quartz. very happy with both. not the cheapest admitedly, but well worth it in my opinion. excellent customer service/support also
actually bought both mine brand new off ebay and saved around £200 a time0 -
Have a look at grohe too....i'll be installing a grohe avensys modern for our shower which has a 5 year guarantee not to be sniffed at. Seems excellent quality and solidly built (heavy brass) - being german engineered. We have a gravity-fed system rather than a combi boiler but this particular valve is suitable. For a supplier...i got mine from Showers Direct 2u : http://www.showers-direct2u.co.uk/ishop/1068/shopscr376.html (though i paid less as i bought it before grohe prices went up in january) ...also do built-in depending on your needs.
Mira Excel seems to get good reviews also with 5 year guarantees. Else Aqualisa have an excellent reputation (my experience of their customer service was all good and my parents found the same) - though the guarantee is shorter.
