I agree about telling your parents. You don't have to tell them how much - explain to them that you need the money to pay off debts and you can make it up to them in other ways like doing extra chores.

I top up £20.00 a month and for £11.99 I get 400 free SMS and I also get 25 free text messages from O2. I mostly use my phone for just SMS. Rarely call people from my mobile-work if I'm running late, retrieving voicemail messages. That's all.

Yeah my parents know. I've told them and also it's obvious from the numerous letters from creditors, court letters and 1 baliff visit! Not paying rent isn't really an option. I've missed this month though but it just means I will have to pay more next month.

The T.V is expensive I agree. I could possibly get a cheaper one when the contract on this expires.

Id still talk to your parents show them the figures show that that of they give you a break for a few months you can get your debt under control if they cant give you that breathing space they should expect more visits from the baliffs

They already know about the huge debt. I did ask for help recently, to borrow money from them to pay off the smaller debts and then I would just have my two loan payments which would make things a lot easier but they were unable to help.

The CCCS and Payplan do exactly the same thing for you but don't charge you for their services! They are both registered charities and won't bleed you dry like thos other leeches!

With The CCCS and Payplan every penny of that £200 a month goes towards paying of your debts!

Get in touch with them immediately. Don't put it off by thinking "well it's only £50 a month"! How long did that other company tell you you would be paying it off for? With The CCCS or Payplan you could cut at least a quarter of the time off that!

Please please please ditch those scumbags you are with! They are a disgrace and shouldn't be allowed to operate!

But if the Debt Management Plan changes to an IVA (I think I just about qualify) do you still have to pay a fee or are IVAs free?
