    Good Choice

The eurotunnel is much easier and quicker than the ferries, you'll appreciate it when you drive off at the other end straight onto the motorway.

If you go through Belgium stop at Adenkerke for yoru cheap fags and tobbaco

How does one get Tesco vouchers for the Eurotunnel? I;d like to use it but it is far more expensive than the ferry and that is important for me as I'm on a tight budget.

    by shopping with tesco
u got 1point for every pound you spend when you swipe your Tesco Clubcard

points are then issued in vouchers every 3mths (i think)

    example:
if you have racked up £50 worth of Vouchers, you can then use them for numerous things in their Clubcard brochure, for up to 4 times that amount.

so £50 of vouchers suddenly becomes £200 to spend

Eurotunnel return is usually around £100-£125 i belive

Really? I do have a clubcard which I use, but I always spent them on shopping. I didn't know you could save them for bigger deals. Thanks for the tip!

Do not expect cigarettes to be cheap anymore especially as the euro is so strong.I used to work as a european courier and have seen the prices increase month by month.I used to come off the boat/train and travel past the 'tobacco villages' on my way to holland, germany and denmark etc.I would see the french police/customs waiting for people to stop and telling them they could not carry more than 400 cigs through their country without paying a tax.
