Anybody watching 'New Homes from Hell 2009'

Just watching New Homes from Hell 2009 on ITV.

Rotting timber frame in London (now up for sale), a without-mortgagees-consent rented house that was turned into a cannabis farm, leaking flat in the centre of Birmingham and now a man in Yorkshire who was converting a barn in the village he is from originally who took down a lean to on one official's advice only to be told his planning permission was no longer valid.

Less sensational than a lot of ITV programmes for a change.

Really felt for the last young couple. A builder digs a deep trench and their gable wall falls into it, they aren't covered by their insurance, he has no insurance and their possessions are looted from their home whilst the wall is missing. Nobody is willing to help sort it out and she has to file for bankruptcy which is causing her problems with her professional body as an accountant :(

I felt for all of them but the guy working with coal really made sad...:(

He works like a horse to meet mortagage, legal fees and applying for building permission 3 times in arow without luck

How can the council wants to preserve a pile of dilapidated rubbish, instead of encouraging that rubbish to become a house for someone..

All his family lived there all his life, one next to the other, it just seems morally correct to give this guy a place next to his family and the place he grew up in ...
