kaspersky help

ok, I know this sounds dumb but I have now installed Kaspersky 2009 on to my computer. So.. how does it work, how do I know that it is working? Do i need to carry out scans or am I way off the mark? Also under malware protection it says virus protection turned off, turn on now? when I click yes nothing happens, do I have a poblem?

but your antivirus software should start screaming at you straight away if it's working.

  • Hi, I am a great fan of Kaspersky and have it on my home PC's. However I'm away on business so can't give you detailed info. When you open up Kaspersky look in the top right hand corner of the window and it should say something like your computer is protected or not. If not, there should be something to click that says solve this problem. I would switch protection on and probably everything else. The user manuals can be found here. I would run a full scan of computer.

My Kaspersky 2009 starts to scream and blocks it as expected.
