Hi Everyone
I currently get broadband from AOL on a line provided by talktalk (but not LLU). I am currently moving over to talktalk on their LLU service which is due to go live 6th April.
I read somewhere that its better not to cancel AOL until the talktalk transfer has taken place (I read in some cases the aol account has been cancelled straight after the phonecall and othercases where the move to LLU service was postponed)
Can i ask if this is the right way to do it, will open reach move my line over to LLU if there is already an active broadband account on it? will the live aol broadband account mess up the talktalk LLU account? will the aol account still work on the LLU line?
Sorry for lots of silly questions

Hi 1Jim,
It would be worth taking a look at your AOL terms and conditions of service to see what your notice period is for terminating the service with them. TalkTalk can take over your service with no problems while the AOL service is live so from our point of view theres no harm in leaving the cancelation until after go live with TalkTalk. From a financial point of view for you though it may be best to cancel now. I don't have any experience of AOL so maybe other members could help out on how their cancelation process works from experience?
Cheers
