I operate windows 98 and I have just downloaded the new MSN Toolbar. However when I click on Internet Explorer to use my system I have 3 toolbars which I use: MSN, Yahoo and my Canon Printer Toolbar. Now that I have downloaded the new toolbar it keeps opening up on the uk.msn.com and I get this page all the time. Previously I only had my toolbars and a blank page which is what I am happy with. I have tried uninstalling the toolbar from add/remove programmes but it keeps on coming up. I only use the MSN Toolbar to access my hotmail other than that I dont use it. Any ideas how I can stop this page keep appearing. I have tried clicking on 'make msn my homepage/default page' and selecting no but its still there. ??

https://www.ccleaner.com has an inbuilt program uninstaller.
Also Open IE Tools, Internet Options, and Change to whatever home page..
Does that help :think:0 -
On the toolbar itself click on MSN then click Uninstall and follow all the prompts. Then shut down your browser and restart.Ex forum ambassador

Wow - how quick are you. Sorted now - I'm a happy girl again. Another question for you - is there another way of accessing my hotmail without having the toolbar displayed - or am I really having a blonde moment - sorry if it sounds daft but I'm not good at techie stuff. :T :T0
