PPI Claims against HFC / Benificial Finance

Hello,
I have written the initial letters to HFC for each account that i have had in the past. The argument that they were all illegally sold is the same for each case:
· The salesperson selling the insurance was pushy and strongly advised me to take the insurance.
· I was told I had to take the insurance, told I could not get my loan without the PPI and only provided with a quote for the cost of the loanwith PPI attached.
· I was not asked whether I already had any existing insurance or employer benefits that would cover my repayments.
· You have been punished by the Financial Services Authority for failing to treat customers fairly and I do not believe that the PPI I bought was sold in my best interest.
· I was sold a single premium policy that was not fully explained to me as the whole cost of the insurance was not made clear to me, it was not explained what would be refunded if I cancelled the insurance or if I repaid the loan early.
· It was not explained that the PPI would not run for the full term of my loan.
the details of each loan are:
345.13 * 48 started 1/10/1
134.25 * 51 started 8/6/2
61.34 * 24 started 18/12/4
16.48 * 24 started 21/5/5
233.28 * 36 started 21/5/5
Does it look like that I have grounds to reclaim the PPI from all of these loans? Does anyone know approximately what sort of figure I could expect back from them based on previous experience of this company?
Kind regards,

thank you I will try and come back and give you their response. I was concerned that the loans may date too far into the past but I will send off the letters tomorrow anyway.
thanks for the quick reply.

Hello,
first of all thank you for your help with this. after calling them each monday for the last three weeks and then insisting to a supervisor that I was about to contact the ombudsman I received two letters yesterday from HFC offering the full PPI back with interest.
for my accounts (apart from the Halfords loan which was very old to be fair) I have received a settlement offer of £3958.86 and for the one that was in my parents name a settlement offer of £5045.45. this is just over £9000 so I am delighted.
well worth following the steps. I sent a further letter a couple of weeks ago reminding them of the 8 week deadline coming up and this was the result.
thanks very much and if anyone isn't sure whether they should do it then I say don't think twice!
Kind regards,
Craig Allison

HFC/ Beneficial have an agreement with the FOS where they are settling complaints in date order. The FOS send over lists of complainants and HFC are working through and settling. I got mine sorted recently they paid it all direct into my bank account the PPI, plus interest paid and 8% statutory. Took about 6motnh wait the FO though maybe bit longer i would have to check. So my advise is if you have a complaint against these and they wont cave in send it to the FOS and waitMY Successes = RBS PPI, RBS bank charges, Aqua PPI, Aqua cc charges, HFC PPI, Welcome Finance PPI, Blackhorse PPI Mums Ongoing= Swift Advances PPI, London Scottish PPI, Blackhorse chgs, GE money pyts missing

I would say most ppi by these is mis-sold along with the 3 'income insurances' they used to peddle. I know that the CAM's were made to feel they had to push these products and their managers would make the customer feel they had to take it. On many occassions they would give the impression they would not allow the customer the loan unless they took ppi.0
