I didn't say I made £9k in an afternoon. I said I made a £9k sale, books to a school. There was a 40% discount for the school, making the order about £5.1k, I earnt 33% commission on it - I made about £1700 in an afternoon.

It was a sale for Usborne Books for Home and Schools. You can visit my website via my profile.

Hi, I work for Silverline jewellery and do very well from it. You mentioned about finding out more before parting with any money. There are party plan companies which don't have any initial outlay or hidden extras, Silverline being one of them.

I think there is a thread headed up "Partyplan" in the "up your income" section that may gave you some further details on the other companies. Having looked at lots of other companies before choosing Silverline my advice would be to check out all the facts first before committing.

With regards to the self employed part there is nothing scary about it. I'm not wanting to disclose what I earn on this thread but what I will say is that for the amount of time I work it's fantastic. It's also great fun and never feels like work.

If you would like more details pm me.
    hi guys .
can you give me more information on silverline jewellery , I would love to join . :)
don't be a hypocrite all your life. God is watching YOU
  • I also work for Silverline Jewellery and I love it! The jewellery virtually sells itself - so no long drawn out presentations and NO hard sell!

Having looked at other party plan companies, I think that what we offer hostesses and consultants is one of the best deals around.

I want to start BSAH, but I'm wondering how the six starter parties will fit around my regular job. I'm a teacher, so I wonder if the summer holidays will be a good time to start, obviously my evenings are fairly hectic with other work commitments in term time... how do the rest of you get around this problem?

    I work full time.

There is a BSAH thread where the girls mightgive you more info - but as I work party plan and also have a full-time job I work my diary to suit my family life and book parties into my diary when I know I have free time - also Saturday and Sunday afternoons are very popular now with the good weather finally coming!

    good luck:beer:

I work Usborne and find that what you earn is totally dependent on how much effort you put in. You need to choose the right company for you bearing in mind product, start up/on going costs, and targets. I tried Kleeneze and hated it. I then chose Usborne as I adore the books, the costs involved are low and being 7m pregnant when I joined and having a toddler I needed something with full flexibiltiy. Usborne offers that - they don't tell you how many parties/events/sales/take etc you need to do, it's entirely up to you. If you want more info just PM me and I'll be happy to let you know the highs and lows of my experiences.

I have just answered on another thread about Chocoholics not sure how to do the link so just look my user name up. Suffice to say make quite a bit in a relatively short time but it is much harder work than virgin vie, or avon etc. I have lost count of the times that people know how hard it is because they do Avon etc. There is no comparison, having £6k of chocolate delivered to your house and then having to unpack it all and bag it up and deliver it. And thats just one of 10 or 11 weeks. I am not saying every week is that much but I would say sales are usually between £2k and £6k per week at Christmas but there are some ladies that do as much as £10k average per week.
    £2.00 Savers Club = £34.00 So Far

+ however may £2 coins I have saved in my Terramundi since 2000.

    Terramundi weighs 8lb 5oz

Sorry, must admit that I didn't read the rules (no defence, I know). I was on here for genuine reasons and do use the site properly. Huge apologies, I won't do it again.

    Forgiven?
