has anyone been to PEFKOS RHODES

yes nice place but we went in October - much more crowded in the summer
beach is not much
half a dozen restaurants and a dozen bars (some with snacks plenty of british sport in bars on sattelite TV) Very friendly
one car hire place
bus service seemed OK but I hired a car - you can drive around the isalnd in a day

Anything else ?

We went to Pefkos a few years ago and really enjoyed it. Plenty of bars and restaurants, and quite a few nice pools you can use if you don't fancy the beach. What I do remember as a major feature is that it is quite hilly. We were staying at the top of a steep hill, and so heading downwards was fine. To return we took the longer route which was less steep, and passed more bars! But I wouldn't recommend it, or anywhere on Rhodes, if you have mobility problems.

Went there a while back. Quiet resort, narrow beach backed by low cliff. There was a boat trip round to Lindos which is noisier but has a better beach.

Went there 2 years ago there was 10 of us went adults and kids good place plenty of restaurants and bars. Where are you staying?
