Just a quick question re LSSA & Incidental Expenses:-
My hubby will going away on excerise for over 10 days so will qualify for LSSA. Can you confirm if he's entitled to IE as well as the LSSA as we're currently overseas and receive LOA.
Thanks for any advice

from JSP 752
INELIGIBILITY
03.0115. Ineligible Personnel. Subsistence is not payable in the following
circumstances:
a. Where Service personnel are undertaking any Home to Duty Travel or
any form of Get You Home journey.
b. When Service personnel are living under Field Conditions, no matter
what the type of accommodation, there is no entitlement to claim either
subsistence or IE.
Exercise is Field Conditions (normally). Although I understand that the RAF can exercise in Hotels!!
Sorry, but it is a no. PS - not RAF admin, just trying to help.:o0 -

As above really, check the JSP 752. Available through Raf Com website.
If its an excerise / detatchment then im sure it will get paid, if it was an exped then i think you cant claim it for that.
Best to speak to the PD clerk, or the Sqn / Section admin staff.
I guess you will find out in a few months time when its paid.0 -
Thanks for the replies guys - DH has spoken to admin and they've said he can claim due to the circumstances as it's not an excerise.Alias_Omega wrote: »I guess you will find out in a few months time when its paid.
