Halifax Suck !!!!!

99p ebay transaction, clicked on wrong card. Halifax had customer meeting with me to review account...... did not tell me about the mistaken transaction now..... unrefundable £62.50 charge.

Give them a call 08457203040, I just had had £175.00 refunded by a very nice gent, It was because my tax credits had been cancelled (temporarily) I was in hospital at the time and had no idea, all my D/D were paid and my wages wiped out, They were great refunding all charges........

I once had dealings with Halifax in Longton only to produce identity documents for a cash isa. That episode turned into a widescreen epic of major proportions in spite of the correctly requested documents being produced!
They were a bunch of bumbling illiteratti at that particular branch then - don't know about their other staff elsewhere though.
However, if it's a one off then speak nicely to them and explain, you might be lucky?
