O2 mobile broadband

I've just ran the checker and it says that I should get good coverage at my home location, my girlfriends house and even my parents house.0
-
I had the O2 mobile broadband for a month but took it back and got a refund because of the usage restrictions.
£15.00 for 3GB or 30 days whichever comes soonest, I had not even used 1GB when my 30 days was up, so I have now changed to Vodafone.
Although they charge £15.00 for only 1GB, it does not expire after 30 days, instead it rolls over for up to 180 days.
This is more suitable for my occasional mobile usage.0 -

No. not really.
WiFi works off routers (the same as what you will have at home if you have a wireless router) and they have a range of 20m-50m.
o2 have an arrangement with BT Openzone and The Cloud public WiFi networks. When in range of one of their routers the laptop can log onto the wireless signal instead of the 2G/EDGE/3G signal from the o2 network.
Have a look at http://http://www.btopenzone.com/find/uk/index.jsp
and http://http://www.thecloud.net/About-us/ for more info about how and where there wireless hot spots are.====0 -

it deprends on where you are how busy the cell is (how many people are using it . If you can surf at fast speeds on the iphone it will more then likely be the same with the mobile usb dongle , I'm on 3 for mine in my house its patchy just outside fast as hell . the same would apply to other metworkstimberflake wrote: »I know all about wifi, what im asking is if im out of range of a wifi network is the best i can hope to get 3g/edge/gprs? But i live in the sticks of wiltshire , so it depends on many factors0 -
The Three deal looks really good, 15gb for £15 a month. Would people recommend mobile internet from their experience with it? Being in Leicester City Centre 80% of the time, if I can't get WiFi I'll be able to get 3G.0
