Plastering a 5.5 x 3.5 m kitchen

Hi all,
We have had a quote to bond (where required (about a bag in total)) and skim our entire kitchen.
It is the size quoted above plus the ceiling but it does have the wind of the stairs in on corner so maybe some tricky bits?
The plasterer is supplying all materials including beads etc and has quoted us £440 for the lot.
We have had him do a ceiling for us in the past and on the positive side, he is good.
Does this quote sound good?

Hi,
Yes if he is good and you know he will do a good job the price is good.
There are a lot of people who will plaster for peanuts but they will probably rush it and the quality will be poor.
For peace of mind maybe get a couple more quotes from recommended sources, even if you find him a little more expensive still may be worth going with him as you know he will do a good job.
I have many jobs up here where I know I have not been the cheapest quote but still get the work as people will pay that bit extra for a good job, especially in such an important room in your house like the kitchen you want it 100%
