'Abroad' covers an awful lot of places, some more expensive than others.

If your budget is limited, don't even think of the USA. Instead, pick up a Ryanair flight to Latvia and go camping there.

I suggest you all save your suggestions and advice for someone who can actually sensibly construct a question that can be answered without other posters having to solicit additional information (with little or no success).

have you been to latvia lately? i went last year and was paying £5 for a bottle of heiniken! admitidly that was in a poncy night club where the beautiful hung out. needless to say -
1. i was on expenses
2. i stuck out like a sore thumb

saying that beers were £1 in the main square and the young ladies fashion of high heels and short skirts went down a treat with me and my colleague i was with...
