    Keep monitoring the differential before you send the cheque off - at this point in time it's a no-brainer profit.

    If the institutions follow the same instinct, then LBG could potentially remain below 50% government owned. That thought may be pushing it a bit though!

    Standard chartered at 5 pounds was about 10% yield and they get income from asia so a great hedge, now they are not such a bargain.
    They are probably worth 10 pounds for their secure income
