I need to get my hair trimmed this week so need something free or very cheap (£15 or less) if poss! I've already tried Peter Mark training salon, no luck. Anyone able to help? I'm in south Belfast so it needs to be around there or the city centre.
Thanks very much in advance. :A

have you got a beauty college near you, as sometimes they have there own salon. Might be worth a try.0

Try the Hair Traffic salon (can remember what the road it's on is called but it's at the end of the same road that ann summers is on
)
They have students working constantly and it isn't that dear0 -
I agree go and try your local college
we have a 6th form and adult education college here, and they usually do free or next to nothing haircuts this time of year as the students need to do a certain amount of cuts by the end of term :-)0 -
Belfast Metropolitan College trains people to be hairdressers

I am 99.9% sure they have a training salon which is open to the public.0 -
For a trim pop into the local back street barbers - a fiver and in and out in minutes0

I'm sure I've a pair of Sheep Shearers out in the Garder shed from my days of Working on the Farm.. Will lend them to you or I could pop up and do it for you for £10... Should cover travel expenses..0

£17 in Purely Hair, Holywood for a good cut and blow dry! I'm well pleased with them

Thanks for the suggestions. Hair Traffic trainees charge £15.30, I nearly fainted!!! Someone said that Foxy's on Agincourt Ave charge £15 for a fully trained stylist, anyone tried it?
The only colleges that do hairdressing here are Tower St and Whiterock apparently, neither of which would be any good (I need to go at lunchtime). Ditto Holywood, too far away.
suki, could I go to a barber or would they tell me to wise up? I have longish hair with a few layers.Get to 119lbs! 1/2/09: 135.6lbs 1/5/11: 145.8lbs 30/3/13 150lbs 22/2/14 137lbs 2/6/14 128lbs 29/8/14 124lbs 2/6/17 126lbs

How about going into a regular salon and asking for a dry cut? They are usually substantially cheaper. They just spritz your head with some water, cut bits off and throw you out (OK there may be a bit more skill involved than implied by that description!). Maybe some of your more local ones could squeeze you in during a lunch break as this service is obviously speedy.0

Is this really cheaper? I'm not bothered about having my hair washed and dried so it might suit.Get to 119lbs! 1/2/09: 135.6lbs 1/5/11: 145.8lbs 30/3/13 150lbs 22/2/14 137lbs 2/6/14 128lbs 29/8/14 124lbs 2/6/17 126lbs
