LXDirect will accept "discount" code at time of order and display the discounted price, but they will charge your account/card with the non discounted price.
They are under investigation by Trading Standards.

I've successfully ordered from Littlewoods Extra (LXDirect) in the past (around a month and a half ago) when some different discount codes were floating about.

What happens is that they charge you for the full amount the credit you any discount codes. I ordered a VCR/Digibox and I was charged the full cost then immediately credited £25 discount. Seems like a silly way of doing it but I guess that's their computer system at fault.

Also if you're thinking of using the discount codes then try to use only one, I think if you stack up multiple codes you'll end up speaking to customer services. Delivery was also next-day.

I went for the original offer and it was accepted but then got a phone call to say one of the discounts was not valid, i asked what the price would be and he said his maths are not too good ermm errrm £107. i agreed to go ahead but it arrived on tuesday with a bill for £117. It sold on E bay for £135 though so not too bad.

;D ;D just received the camera after ordering just 24hrs ago...marvellous.....got all the discounts stated but one thing to note though, the charge to my c/card for the camera was £116.99 , when I queried this was told that the discount would be appied at a later date as a credit of £25 to my credit card.

Was also warned that , in future, if I applied more than one code that I had not been personally advised of by LXDirect then the order would be declined..apparently it is in the small print of the web page and email that confirms the order but I could not find it!!!!!

Anyway, better order this quickly, ie make it snappy !!!!!

Just be prepared to find that your "discount" has NOT been applied an consider yourself fortunate if it has.

I managed to get mine, delivered net day, but again i suspect they may try and charge me for full price!!

on Camera, i have recently had a casio exilim z-3 stolen, and for everyday snaps, i think this is a great deal.

I am in need of a 256mb memory card and a case, does anyone have any ideas where i can get these cheap??
