Nice price, but has it got no optical zoom?

Seems to use some sort of smart zoom?

    Good find though ;)

No optical zoom! :o Although it's 4mp, I wouldn't touch any digicam without an optical zoom.......In fact, I'd suggest that you'd be better off with a 2mp camera with optical than a 4mp without!
The problem with digital zoom is that it it isn't actually "zoom", well not in the normal sense of the word. What it is in fact is a digital "crop", ie it takes the full picture at the required resolution and then crops the picture down to the area selected in the zoom. In effect, you're getting the same picture as if you hadn't used the digital zoom, but with areas cut out and then the whole thing is digitally "blown up" to size.
  • You can use xx012 even if you don't pay with your Barclaycard!

    Still comes to £91.99

    I tried it!

The codes work on anything over £65

Looks good price, you can pay that for a non named thing.

    Good spot OP
  • I tried to use these offer codes. It seemed OK, with all the discounts being applied cumulatively. I got all the way to entering my credit card details, and got a confirmation screen saying the order was being processed.

Then I got an email asking me to call them, which I did, They asked me where I'd got the £25 discount code from. I told them a friend had received it, but wasn't using it and had passed it to me. On that basis they told me the discount couldn't be applied. (I cancelled the order.)

So in summary: you CAN use the 3 discount codes in combination, but you can only use the £25 discount IF the discount code was posted to you personally... so now you know what you need to say when you speak to them. I don't know whether you can just blag it and say the offer was posted to you personally. They may or may not be able to verify that.

    Cheers!

Asda have a Fuji FinePix A330 for £99.87 on their website, it is only 3.2 Mega Pixels but it has some good features and seems like a good deal but I'm no expert. The cheapest I can see it anywhere else is £123.

I was in Asda today and I thought I saw a 6million pixel camera for £199, I think it was a Samsung camera, anybody know any more about this?

It was the Fuji FinePix F610, bargain as the cheapest I've found it for on the net is £229.99 from amazon.
    Next year we'll be millionaires!
